Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering was founded in 2001 with wide coverage of the five major transportation modes of railway, highway, aviation, water transportation and pipeline, including four secondary disciplines, namely road and railway engineering, vehicle operation engineering, transportation planning and management, traffic information engineering and control.

This journal has become a paper source of several well-known databases, such as The Engineering Index (Ei) of the United States, Scopus of Netherlands, Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD core database), as well as Chinese Science and Technology Papers and Citation Database (CSTPCD) etc.
This journal ranks first in the field of integrated transportation in the Annual Report on Comprehensive Citation of Chinese Academic Journals (Core Edition).

Journal of Chang'an University (Natural Science Edition) is the core journal of Chinese road transportation identified by A Guide to the Core Journals of China (First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Edition). It is a paper source of several famous databases, such as Chinese Scientific and Technological Papers (Chinses Core Scientific and Technological Journal), Scopus, International Road Research Documentation Database (IRRD), Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD). Scientific Papers
The 29th ITS World Congress is a major forum for academic and scientific excellence in the ITS profession. If you have undertaken research in the area of Intelligent Transport Systems, the World Congress International Program Committee invites you to present your findings at the event in the form of a scientific paper. Scientific paper should be non-commercial. Full scientific papers should be (9) nine to (12) twelve pages in length including references and should be written in English. All papers will be peer-reviewed by at least one highly qualified reviewer from each of the three World Congress regions and only those who meet high scholarly standards can be accepted. Papers which are submitted as scientific ones, may still be accepted as technical papers, if the committee deems fit.
